Final Fantasy XIV’s next expansion, Dawntrail, was finally unveiled to the world at the North American 2023 Fan Fest in Las Vegas. While director Naoki Yoshida revealed a ton of new details about Final Fantasy XIV 7.0 and the Dawntrail expansion during the opening keynote, some things were held back for future reveals. So you’ve defeated Rennala at Raya Lucaria Academy in Elden Ring, and you might be at a crossroads as to where to go next. The Lands Between are vast and diverse in their resources, as well as the enemies that tread across them, and you should choose carefully, knowing what you’re capable of. You’re at this point likely familiar with Limgrave and Liurnia, and while there are loose ends to tie off, you’re likely searching for a new source of adventure.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for the first time in the series has a protagonist that you can make a male or female, as even Assassin’s Creed Odyssey had two distinct characters representing each of the genders available. One of the ways in which you can do this is by changing their hair color or style, but you have to know where to go to do it.
Though considerably smaller in scale, the madness-inducing tower in Liurnia of Elden Ring might have proven reminiscent to those who have perused the novels of Tolkien. Whose work depicts the Eye of Sauron, an ever-burning orb perched atop a high tower, surveying the lands below, inducing fear in those who would dare to lock eyes with its gaze. Players of Elden Ring should find the notion of quelling the fire orb in Liurnia to be much tamer in comparison, as it is wholly man-made.
Some of the most powerful items in Elden Ring come with penalties in exchange for strength. The Primal Glintstone Blade is one of these items, reducing maximum HP in exchange for reduced spell costs. It’s not the only item that can reduce the cost of spells, but few pieces of equipment – including other Talismans – can match this one. The blade is a perfect addition to any player looking to deal immense damage with sorceries, and it can find plenty of use on support and healing builds as well.
